Syrah (also known as Shiraz in Australia & USA), is one of the world’s most popular red grape varieties. It’s quite hard to pin down, as regional styles vary from place to place and it is successfully grown across the globe. Typically, the red wines it produces are peppery, herby and abundant with spicy black fruit flavours.
